While in Montreal for my ladies weekend I had the pleasure of staying at one of Corporate Stays‘s downtown Montreal locations Loft4U which is located Rue De La Gauchetière O. The location was perfect, as it was near the old port and the underground shopping, with the Metro being just a short walk away.

Unlike typical hotels, Corporate Stays offers condo units in modern buildings that you can book often for less than a standard hotel room. For me, one of the main advantages is the condos are larger than your typical hotel room making it perfect if you need to stay for a few days and would like a full kitchen and dining room to entertain, in room laundry, or in my case need to some extra space so that you can work.

The interior of the condo at Loft4U had a huge window that took up the entire back wall that looked onto a church and garden which made for a lovely view.

One interesting feature in the unit was many of the furniture pieces, such as desk, and side tables were all customized with stenciled city names to give a subtle travel theme to the condo.

One problem I sometimes face when travelling is a lack of space to hang all my outfits for a trip. So for all you over packers or travellers looking for somewhere to stay for an extended period of time, the Loft4U condos offer plenty of storage space for clothes.  The condo offered a small area to hang jackets by the door and a long wardrobe behind the dining room table.

The dining and kitchen were sleek white and chrome in design with appliances such as a dishwasher and refrigerator seamlessly blending in to look like cupboards which help the kitchen feel larger.  The kitchen was also conveniently stocked with essentials such as dishes, cleaning supplies and a few small appliances which would make it perfect for anyone who wanted to cook.

The bathroom offered a huge tub that could easily fit 2 people that reminded me of the soaker tubs you find in Japan. The tall square tub allows you to sit in the water and soak without needing to lie down to keep yourself submerged in the water.  Above the tub there also was a shower.

Corporate Stays currently has a variety of units in Canada, US, Panama, England, France, Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil, and you can check out all their locations and units on their website. I enjoyed my experience so much, that I’m looking into staying with them again when I visit London.
