Create your own DIY marble contact paper container perfect to use in the kitchen to hold kitchen utensils, as decorative vase for flowers or in the office to store pencils or craft supplies like paint brushes.

DIY MARBLE CONTACT PAPER CONTAINER

To create your own marble container you will need one medium sized glass vase, scissors and marble contact paper.

To start cut the marble contact paper to the exact height of the vase, and wrap the paper around the vase with the protective backing still on so that it will not stick to the glass. Next using your scissors trim away any excess contact paper so that the strip of contact paper wraps around the vase fully only with a small overlap. Next simply line up the contact paper and slowly remove the backing and place the contact paper around the vase. As you go push out any air bubbles until the vase is fully covered with the contact paper.

Here you can see the completed marble container holding pencils on a desk. For those curious, the total cost of this project was $2 with both the contact paper and vase being purchased from the dollar store. How would you use yours?

I’m thinking I might try this with some of the leftover drawer liner/contact paper I have from the bathroom.
