Yesterday I came across an empty silver frame I had and decided to transform it into a beautiful metallic tray perfect for organizing thing atop of my vanity in my bedroom. What I love about this DIY photo frame tray is it took only 5 minutes to do, and the glass of the frame beautifully protects the decorative paper making it easy to clean.
DIY PHOTO FRAME TRAY
- 1 photo frame
- Enough cardstock to cover the photo frame ( a 12×12″ sheet of cardstock was used)
- Scissors or craft knife
- A ruler
This is what the frame looked like before I started.
At the craft store, I found these amazing sheets of sequin and highly reflective metallic silver cardstock which I used as they matched the frame’s colour.
Here you can see the frame with the metallic paper being framed which gives it a mirror-like finish.
My personal favorite though is the tray with the sequin paper which I find especially fun as who doesn’t need a bit of extra sparkle in their life?
