DIY Gold Bowl: Take 2

DIY Gold Leaf Bowls

Less than a month ago I made some gold paper bowls that I still adore, especially considering how little they cost to make.  As I mentioned before when I shared this project before, paper mache brings back memories of high school art class and as luck would have it I just received photos from my dear friend Jeannine who not only made her own version of the bowls after reading my post – but she was also in my high school art classes. Double flashback! I love the look of both her bowls and the coppery/warm gold interiors. Unlike my bowl’s rough torn edges her bowls are sleek and sophisticated. I know what you must be thinking, time to recycle some paper and make some paper bowls to use as an accent in your own home.

Love these gold bowls? Let me know with a post below. Also if you would like me to highlight your version of a project I’ve done send me an email with photos of the project, as I’d love to feature your work.

Yay! I’m happy to hear that Anna. Send photos to me if you do make the a bowl as I would love to see how it turns out.
