Backing on the Belvedere Palace, and only a short walk away from Belvedere 21 (a modern art museum), The Lindner Hotel is a perfect spot to spend the night if visiting these two sights. Directly outside the hotel, you can also easily take the tram to reach the city centre in under 20 minutes.
For my stay, I was in the Business Class King Size room. It offered a double sized bed, along with a unique open style bathroom which was open to the bedroom (except the toilet which was in a separate room).
I adored the rose detail on the headboard of the bed. It was super chic.
There was a grand sitting chair that felt very royal, and it was the perfect spot to curl up with a good book. Inside the room, there was a coffee maker with a selection of several coffees and teas to enjoy.
Without question, the best feature of my room was that it overlooked Belvedere Palace and the gardens. I loved waking up see the gorgeous palace out my window.
Dining At The The Lindner Hotel
Within the hotel, there is a small bar, a traditional Austrian restaurant Heuriger Am Belvedere, and a large space for breakfast.
I opted for breakfast at the hotel, which was extraordinary. There was a huge selection of food from classics like eggs and bacon, assorted slices of bread and pastries, yogurts, fruit, cheese and meat. I also loved there were two large coffee machines which could brew espresso-based beverages on demand. The cappuccino the machine made was wonderful, and I was very impressed with the spread of food.
