Like most people, I can’t get enough of seeing cute animals and have one snuggle calico Suki. So when Meowfest reached out to see if I was interested in attending their online festival, I was excited to see what it was all about.
It is happening from July 10 to 12, and tickets are only $25 for the entire weekend. So grab some tickets ASAP and join in the virtual celebration for cat lovers. Plus, you can feel good knowing the proceeds are going to animal charities.
Each day there is a mix of Zoom meetings with different meet and greets with celeb-purrties, tutorials and Q&A sessions.
Day two just started, and I attended a few activities, as my schedule would allow. The first was a cocktail making session with Nude Beverages. This one was the least cat-themed, as only the beverages had cat names, but they were drinks I’d like to try to make later.
Next, I watched BeautiBean skillfully paint the perfect cateye and listened to an interview with Cats of Instagram (an Instagram account I followed for a while as it fills me with joy).
I also joined for a workout with Katie Crewe where she worked out next to her cat. Along with an ask me anything session with Dr. Evan Antin, who People named the sexiest veterinarian.
The sessions were mixed, and there would be something for any cat-lover on the list. There are DIYs, how to create the next viral cat Tik Tok account, and so much more.
Whenever you want, you can also watch the live cat feeds too. Or go shopping online using the discount codes provided for a variety of cat-themed products.
This was my first pet festival, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Some sessions I found lacked enough of the cat theme or just weren’t for me, but others were entertaining. Given the limitation of doing the event online, it was well done and very well organized.
It was also nice and simple to navigate the online events either using your phone or the website link provided.
If this sounds like the purrrfect event for you, get your tickets now.
