A week plan of 5 snacks/breakfasts and 5 mains is $75-150. When ordering you have the option to select if you wish your plan to serve a family so there would be multiples of the same dish). Individual meals are $13-18, 500ML cold-pressed juices are $6.50, while breakfast/snacks range from $5-26.
The cold pressed juices current is available in 6 flavors, and I had the pleasure of trying yellow and bright green. Yellow is perfect for all you pineapple lovers, as it blends pineapple, apple, lemon, ginger, and turmeric. The second flavor I tried was Bright Green which is made out of cucumbers, spinach, lime, celery, and apple. Bright Green is a very tart drink that tastes mainly of lime so you won’t even notice you are getting a healthy portion of spinach in your beverage.
One of the healthy snack options at MmmFoods are the oat balls ($10) which are designed to give you plenty of energy. The ones I had were a mixture of peanut butter, oats, sunflower seeds, flax, coconut, and chocolate chips.
For my mains, I tried the goddess bowl and buddha bowl which turns out are the same dish just the goddess bowl had chicken on the top. Both bowls have raw zucchini noodles, quinoa, red cabbage, cucumber, celery, red peppers, sprouts, and almonds. The bowls came with a tart lime-based dressing that is very refreshing.
Overall I was pleasantly surprised with the healthy meal options from MmmFoods but for me, the true superstar has to be the cold-pressed juices which are better than many of the cold-pressed juices currently available in Ottawa.
