The holiday season is a great time to indulge in a bottle of Champagne with family and friends, and with New Year’s Eve just around the corner this quick Champagne bucket will be the perfect thing to keep your bubbly chilled throughout the evening celebrations.
Keep you hard earned money for treating yourself to a nice bottle of bubbly instead of paying $25-50 for a Champagne bucket by making your own for just a few dollars. To make the champagne bucket, I bought a $1 plastic bucket from the dollar store which was sold as a bench for playing in the sand, but any similar shaped plastic container would work. Next to make the plastic container look like metal, I sprayed the entire plastic bucket with Rust-oleum metallic spray paint in silver.
Once the paint dries your bucket can be filled with ice and your bottle of Champagne and you are all set for hosting your holiday party.
After New Year’s Eve is over just empty out the ice and store your DIY Champagne bucket on your bar cart so you can use it next time you wish to serve chilled white wine. Enjoy!
